Equality Trust And Pay Compare Join Forces To Tackle Pay Inequality

Today, The Equality Trust and Pay Compare announced that Pay Compare’s UK pay ratio campaign will be incorporated into The Equality Trust. The process will commence immediately with completion expected by 31 March 2018.

Dr Wanda Wyporska, Executive Director of The Equality Trust, commented:
“I am delighted that we will be taking forward the pioneering work of Pay Compare in collating and presenting employer pay ratios from across the UK. It will be a massive boost to our work to improve the quality of life in the UK by reducing economic and social inequality. In alliance with our Pay Tracker report, that rates FTSE CEOs on their pay ratios, we believe we can shine a spotlight on the massive inequalities of pay in our society.  We particularly look forward to working with our supporters and local activist groups to use the Pay Compare campaign to encourage more employers to disclose their ratios ahead of legislation on pay ratio reporting.”
