Duncan Exley is standing down as Executive Director of The Equality Trust (TET) from 31 March 2016 in order to write a book related to inequality.
Duncan has been at the Trust for over five years, and as Director has led TET to become an important voice for policies that would reduce inequality in the UK. The Board of TET wishes to thank Duncan for his vitally important contribution to TET’s development.
Duncan said “It has been a privilege to work for an organisation which has pushed and will no doubt continue to push inequality up the political and public agenda. The evidence is clear, that when high levels of inequality are not tackled, they will create damage to our society and economy. I wish the Trust all the best in meeting its potential: to make sure that those in power do address the damage caused by, as President Obama put it, ‘the defining issue of our time’”.
