By mutual agreement, Dr Zubaida Haque, who joined The Equality Trust on 6 January 2022 will be stepping down from her role as Executive Director to pursue a different direction in her career. In the short time Dr Haque was with us she identified new funding opportunities for The Equality Trust, expanded partnerships with new sectors, developed a policy function in the organisation and brought much experience from her previous senior roles in The Runnymede Trust, Independent SAGE, the civil service and national Commissions. We would like to thank Zubaida for all her work, and we wish her all the best for the future.

It was a demanding role and I accepted the challenge; I am proud of the significant contribution I have made within a few months of leading The Equality Trust. I am excited for The Equality Trust in the next few years, and I am sure they will continue to grow from strength to strength.”
