Every human deserves a good life and I am dedicated to fighting for this. At University, I studied Sociology with a specialism in Race and Global Politics, which refined by critical analysis skills. Society is increasingly suffocating for marginalised groups, while those in power hoard resources. Things need to change today. I currently work in a charity that supports young people to thrive in life. I help young people amplify their voices on the matters most important to them. I hope to continue using storytelling to push for social change.
Last year, I had the opportunity to become a Youth Advocate and Community Reporter for the Equality Trust. This was a life changing project, which helped me gain confidence in my own voice. Therefore, this journey and opportunity is exciting. I have chosen to become a Trustee of Equality Trust, as I share the same vision for humanity and want to bring my experiences and skills to support The Equality Trust to continue their powerful work.
